Dolly, Philip and Henry -- I am so saddened to hear about Bob. I haven't seen Bob in 20 years since we graduated from Dartmouth, but he and I lived in the same residence hall for a time and he was one of the most memorable individuals I met at Dartmouth. He was fun-loving, and a really solid person. I'm particularly saddened for the boys, because I'm sure he was an amazing father. I'm sure that Bob's many friends from Dartmouth -- and from his other endeavors in life -- will be able to keep Bob's memory alive for his two sons to help them realize what a special person he was. Dear Rech Family- I was a friend of Bob's at Dartmouth and just heard your news. You're likely going to get a lot of messages from people like me who hadn't seen Bob for a while, but are still deeply saddened by his passing. I have never sent condolences in this way, but in an effort to reach all of you, I will. Tom and I , and my mother send our deepest sympathy and love to all of you.
