Janet Cortigiano, a longtime resident of Stamford, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Stamford Hospital in Stamford. Born on July 22, 1944 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jennie Kazenewski Cortigiano. She was 70 years of age. Janet worked as a waitress and hairdresser in the local Stamford area.
She is survived by a son, James Sheehan and three brothers, Leonard, Louis Jr., and Daniel Cortigiano.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Avenue, Darien on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM. The Edward Lawrence Funeral handled the arrangement. www.lawrencefuneralhome.com
