Obituary of James Michael McGinniss

James Michael McGinniss, 63, of Camp Hill, left us suddenly on May 31, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA February 25, 1949 to the late Thomas and Kathleen Hannon McGinniss. He was a longtime resident of Camp Hill. Jim was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was an avid Steeler fan who enjoyed the annual Polar Bear Plunge and kyacking. He loved his job at the State of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue Modernization Project and considered many of his coworkers his second family. He is survived by 3 sisters: Kathleen Haddow and husband, John; Eleanor McGinnis; and Theresa Kessenger and husband, Thomas; brother, Thomas McGinniss and wife, Junko; 2 loving aunts: Mary Francis Snyder of Pittsburgh and Elsie Donahue of Ireland. He was a cherished nephew, uncle, great uncle, counsin, godfather and friend. Not only was he loved, he loved you back. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
