Obituary of William "Terry" Hrnciar

William "Terry" Hrnciar, a resident of Clinton, CT; a former resident of Stamford, and a former 30-year resident of Darien, passed away on November 23, 2014 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born on July 28, 1939 in Williamantic, CT, he was the son of the late William and Minnie Hrnciar. He was 75 years of age. Terry graduated from J. M. Wright Technical School in Stamford in 1958. He worked as plumber for Alvah D. Jessup in Stamford and for W. R. Johnson also in Stamford. He enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, woodcarving and vacations. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandra Hrnciar of Clinton, CT and a daughter Amy Lynne Hrnciar of New York City. He is also survived by a sister Katherine (Kitty) Zolluccio and her husband, Salvatore; a brother Donald Hrnciar and his wife Nancy; brother-in-law Robert Winski and his wife Marriane; and sister-in-law Lucille Spencer; as well as nieces and nephews, Erika and David Labatte; and William and Adrian Spencer. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien.
