Obituary of Ceil Zangrillo Danna

Ceil Zangrillo Danna, a lifelong resident of Darien, CT and a former winter resident of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2012 in Darien. Born December 29, 1925 in Darien, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mae Carmella Zangrillo. She was 86. Ceil graduated from Darien High School. She was owner and operator of Linden Cleaners, Inc. for 65 years. She was a member of the Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk, CT and Boca Del Mar Country Club in Boca Raton, FL Ceil Danna was a loving mother and grandmother first, a supportive wife; a generous heart; a strong and graceful woman; and a steadfast, caring and loyal friend to all who knew her; she is a beautiful soul who has left behind a legacy of love to share with all those who keep her close to their heart. She is survived by one son, Craig A. Danna and his wife, Marie of Darien, CT and a granddaughter, Nicole Danna. She is also survived by two brothers, Stephen Zangrillo of Darien and Robert Zangrillo of Norwalk. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur A. Danna in 2003 and one sister, Anne Zangrillo Sherwood and one brother, Peter Zangrillo. A private service and burial was held with Father Frank Gomez of St. John R.C. Church.
