Nancy was part of the female crew on that Platypus boat that was usually ahead of us when I was a crew member on Whisper. For the last two seasons Nancy and I have often been Sunday guests of Connie and Ken Coventry on Platypus. Nancy was pretty good with the spinnaker.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancy's passing far too early in her years. Her volunteer spirit and smiling face will be missed greatly at Noroton YC. My thoughts are with your family in this difficult time. Please know we will all miss her as well. Fair winds, Nancy! all my best Tory Crane

Although I did not have the pleasure of knowing Nancy well, I do remember how gracious and proud she was at Sarah's wedding. May the comfort of knowing that Nancy is where there is no more pain or suffering bring the needed peace to all who knew and loved her.

Our condolences go out to Sarah and Jennifer. Your mother was a gem as a person and as a friend. She defined a gentle yet vibrant spirit. We will all miss her terribly. NYC will never be the same. Love and prayers to you both and to your Mom. May she rest in peace.

Dear Sarah and Jen, Ever since we came into your family, your mother has been a joy to know. Her sense of humor and charming personality spread happiness to everyone she was around. Nancy was well-versed in many disciples. Her knowledge and enthusiasm contributed to inspiring conversations. We will truly miss her and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. May she rest in peace and may God bless you as she continues to adore you from above. With love and gratitude for having her in our life,

To Nancy's daughters: I have only the fondest of memories of life at the Theta House with Mrs. Charlotte Ridge, our housemother. Nancy and Sue were in the room nextdoor. Lovely times and so much life since then. In Peace and Light to Nancy's memory. Fondly, Carolyn Grant Cstano

Nancy was an enthusiastic member of Noroton YC which is where we saw her most often - from race committee to women's sailing to our Noroton Gardeners team. We'd also see her on our walks along Bump Along and we would have many and involved conversations about planting hedges, ground cover or whatever. We will miss her good cheer and good spirit and good friendship. Our best to her family.
