Obituary of Patricia Mary Harris Foggin

Patricia Mary Harris Foggin passed peacefully from this world on November 24, 2013 at Meadow Ridge in Redding, Connecticut. She was born on November 24, 1932 in Staten Island, NY, the second child of four born to Marian and Charlie Harris. She attended Curtis High School and then worked as a secretary at US Gypsum in New Brighton. It was there that she met her husband, Dave Foggin. Dave's relentless pursuit of Pat was rewarded with a first date and eventually an engagement. They were married on November 12, 1955 and enjoyed 55 years devoted to one another until Dave's death in November of 2010. The most important things in Pat's life were her husband, her family and her faith. Through many moves throughout the country, her priorities never changed. Her daughters, Mary Ann, Judy and Patty, her son-in-law Tom and granddaughters Katie and Maggie were always her main concern. Pat is predeceased by her parents, her husband and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Sr. Mary Ann Foggin, SGL of Ann Arbor, MI, Judith (Tom McCusker) of Weston, Patricia Foggin of Norwalk, her granddaughters Katherine McCusker of Rhode Island, Margaret McCusker of Weston and her brother, Donald Harris of Staten Island, NY. Calling Hours will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien CT on Tuesday November 26, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church, 1986 Post Road in Noroton on Wednesday, November 27th at 10:00 AM. She will be interred at Spring Grove Cemetery immediately following Mass.
