Obituary of Pauline Mary Delle Fontane

Pauline Mary Delle Fontane, age 93, of the Oronoque Village section of Stratford entered into eternal life on April 12, 2021. Pauline was born in Bridgeport to the late Joseph and Margaret (Bisacca) Delle Fontane and spent most of her career as a Government Contracts Administrator for the AVCO Lycoming Company in Stratford. Pauline was a devout catholic and was a parishioner of St. Mark's Church in Stratford. Her family was everything to her, and her greatest joy was spending time with them. She was a wonderful cook and her "Italian feasts" were enjoyed by family and friends. She is survived by her loving family, including three nieces Kathy Goossen and her husband, Marty of Houston, TX, Susie Castle and her husband, Jeff of Fairfield, and Lisa Bohdan and her husband, Bill of Darien; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and her devoted caretaker, Tina Enninful. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Joseph Delle Fontane. A private funeral mass and burial will be held at St. John Church and Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
