William "Bill" Smith age 53, of Shelton, passed away on October 5, 2021. Born July 5, 1968, in Darien. Bill graduated from Darien High school class of 1986 and was an Oil Technician at Petro Home Services for over 20 years. He was a member of the National Association for Amateur Radio (call sign KB1NCP). Also, he was a member and a Drummer of The Port Chester American Legion Band. Bill is survived by his loving parents, Jerry & Barbara (Chudy) Smith of Darien, a cherished son, Robert L. Smith, and his wife, Fotini of Ridgefield, one grandchild, and a sister, Lorraine Palau of Clifton, Virginia. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Road Darien.
