Obituary of Robert Gerard Tracey

Robert Gerard Tracey of Stamford, CT, died on December 23, 2021, at Stamford Hospital. Robert, better known as Bobby to his friends and family, was a runner, played tennis, and loved his New York Football Giants and he looked forward to the football season every year. Bobby was born on June 2, 1938, in New York City. He graduated from St. John's University with a B.S. in Marketing and Management, and he worked for General Motors for forty years.
Bobby loved his family and was loved by them. He was predeceased by his father Patrick Tracey; mother Nora Dwyer Tracey; sister Barbara Tracey; sister Patricia Tracey Boullé; brother-in-law William Boullé; and nephew William Boullé, Jr.
He is survived by his sister Margaret Tracey Marini and brother-in-law James T. Marini; nieces Ellen Boullé Lauria (Paul), Barbara Boullé Backus (Michael), Suzanne Boullé Garman (James), Carolyn Boullé McCoy (Michael), and Tracey Marini; nephews Robert Boullé (Tracy) and James P. Marini; 7 great nieces, 5 great nephews, 3 great-great nieces, and 5 great-great nephews.
The wake will be held at Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 2pm-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at St. John's Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien, at 10am. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx, NY.
