Obituary of Helen F Adams

Long Time Resident of Norwalk

Helen "Lynn" Adams, a long time Norwalk resident passed away on Tuesday April 25, 2023 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NYC. Born October 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Hugh & Helen "Mickey" McCormack.

Lynn was a Medical Assistant for Dr. Avi Wiener of Stamford before she retired in early 2022. Prior to working for Dr. Wiener, she worked for Kaiser Permanente & Dr. Tulin Koparan in Stamford as well. Lynn was avidly social, her circle of friends, whom she considered part of her family, is vast. Her commitment to those she considered family was extraordinary.

She is survived by her loving children; John Adams (Mabel Bejar), Christina Adams (Adrian Herrera) and her step-son Christopher Adams (Margaret), her sister Cecilia McIvor, her children and grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the remarkable efforts of Dr. Coady, Stamford Hospital and the staff in the CTICU at Columbia. We are forever thankful for their immense efforts to help our mother.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00AM at St. Jerome RC Church, 23 Half Mile Road, in Norwalk CT, Interment will be private.
