John, also known as "JT" to his Journal News family, will always be remembered for gentle demeanor and kind way of dealing with people — which made him well respected and much loved by all who knew him. One of my favorite memories were the many lunchtimes I shared with him and two other colleagues - Chris Brown and Gregg Hartnett. Together, we'd commiserate about the state of the world, talk with pride about our families, and share gossip and giggles. It's these little things that I'll remember about our dear JT, who is off to new adventures. Godspeed my friend.
