I was very sorry to hear of John's passing. We were fellow workers at Patriot Hills Golf Club, golfing partners there and in Florida, but most of all good friends and I shall never forget his great sense of humor and storytelling. Condolences to Marie, Tara, whom I had the pleasure of teaching, and the rest of the family. Rest in Peace my friend.

My sister Annette and I met John when we were in Waterbury for our uncle Michael Giblin's funeral in Feb 2020. He sat with us at dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed his company, hearing stories of his childhood and his time in the US. Such a lovely man. Kay Kelly (daughter of Mary Kelly (Giblin)

My deepest sympathies to Marie, Carmel, Caroline, Deirdre and Tara on the passing of Uncle John. He was such a kind and generous person and his passing is such a huge loss. Most of my childhood memories involve the excitement felt when family visited from America and John was a frequent visitor. He will be missed. Thinking of you and your families at this time. We were so sad to hear of John's sudden death. It was such a shock to us all. Thankfully we have great happy memories of our times together. Mattie and I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to talk to him a few days before he passed away. Sincere sympathy to Marie, Carmel, Caroline, Deirdre and Tara. We were so fortunate to have been able to become a part of John & Marie's family, it has been a blessing in our lives to get to know them. Seeing John enter a room would put such a smile on my face, we loved hearing his stories & his eyes would twinkle when he talked. We will miss him so much, but we are so thankful for the times we had with him. Our very deepest sympathy for the the family but how blessed you were to have had him as a husband, father & grandfather.
