Marie and I send our heartfelt condolences to Gayle, Justin and "the girls". Joe was larger than life and he loved life. Energy and confidence surrounded him and while we haven't been in touch since shortly after the Seagram break up I feel his loss. My two favorite memories are reenacting, A River Runs through it with Justin and Joe on a Montana fishing trip and being stuck with Joe on a chairlift for two hours in subfreezing weather in Jackson Hole. I'm pretty sure we were the only ones having fun.

I met Joe when he was our partner distributor at Pernod Ricard. Beyond the great entrepreneur, Ι will remember a man of warmth and simplicity, who went the extra mile to help Christine and me feel welcome in our new setting. He even tried to get me interested in golf (with no success, I’m afraid…). My deepest condolences to Gayle, and all his family.

My deepest condolences to Gayle and her family. Joe first hired me at Seagram Distillers in 1987. My life was forever changed as I started my career at Seagram. I will always be grateful to Joe for that moment. He will be fondly remembered, along with his signature laugh, by both my husband, Eddie, and I. His family will be in our prayers. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a comfort to his family and friends.
