Ruth G. Cooper, a resident of Fairfield CT, passed away on October 15 in Fairfield, Connecticut after a long illness. She was born on September 7, 1924 in Bridgeport CT, to the late Isadore and Lena (Katz) Srebnick. She was 87 years old.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 64 years, Allan Cooper of Fairfield CT; daughter Donna Segers and her husband Ken Segers of Norwalk CT, son Jay Cooper and his wife Alexandra of San Jose CA, Brother Leonard Srebnick and his wife Barbara of Bridgeport CT, and Brother- in- Law Frank Cooper and his wife Linda of Chicago Il. Ruth is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and four nephews. She was predeceased by one Daughter Arline Massey.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road in Darien CT, 06820, on Sunday October 23, 2011 at 10AM. Interment will be private.
