Cliff, After your call today, it took a while for the news to hit us. A welcome call had turned into a very sad one. We have all been through bad news in the past but each one brings an unspeakable sense of helplessness. We never knew Marcia, but reading the obit and the guestbook, she was obviously a very special person. We pray that you can accomplish all you need to do in Florida, and that the memories of Marcia will be deep and full of riches. Dan and Nancy

My husband and I met Marcia when she moved to Florida. We are considered "snowbirds". Marcia, along with Pete, spent every spare moment they had helping others. From working with the homeless to taking care of the sick or elderly in the park. Marsha was taken much too young but I have to believe God needed her more than we did. She will be sadly missed by many. Our sincere condolences to your family.

My mom had called me yesterday to tell me about Marsha. I have spent all day reflecting on the memories I have of falling in love for the first time in my life at the age of 14 with Marsha. It was the most beautiful experience I could have ever had. I wish I had the chance to tell her she will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. I will never stop telling the stories of what happened in those magical moments. It seems like it was just yesterday. My heart goes out to everyone. Im sure she was as special to everyone elses life that she had touched. In my mind I will always see her warm friendly smile

Dear Cliff and Family, I am very saddened to hear of Marcia's passing. I read her obituary with admiration as she lived such a life of giving of herself to others. I have fond memories of a warm and fun loving girl from high school, in fact I had just been thinking of her just hours before opening this email. Our friends and our families are always in our hearts. We are all blessed to have known Marcia. Sincerely, John Aulenti

I'm so sorry to hear of Marcias passing. What can I say about Marcia. When I moved to Darien, Marcia was the first person that I met when entering Mather in 8th grade. She was so kind, gentle, funny, and caring. She took me right under her wing and showed me all the ropes...she was truly a nice person. I have great memories of her that will stay with me forever. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. With deepest sympathy. Carla Fiorita Catanzaro

This is very, very sad news for me to hear. Marcia was a wonderful person with an infectious smile and laugh, who was always there for a friend - and for almost anyone who needed her to be. It appears that part of her personality never changed, and the world is not quite as good as place without her. I've thought of her often over the years and always just kind of assumed that someday we would reconnect. I only wish I'd pursued that now. Rest in peace, my friend. You were and are loved. Dave

I have wonderful memories of Marcia. Growing up next door, she and my sister Lisa were best of friends, so Marcia was always at our house. Later she offered to dress as a clown for my son Brandon's 1st birthday party. She will be remembered as a sweet, funny girl by me who truly was a part of our family. My sincere condolences to Cliff, Rick, Kathy, Rick Jr and Robyn.

I was very saddened to get the news today of Marcia's passing. I can only say that I have fond memories of our childhood growing up & being a close friend of Marcia during those days. We had a lot of fun times on Fitch Avenue and the gang would often end up over Marcia's house swimming or just laughing together of all our adventures. I had lost touch with her after High School but always knew Marcia to be a giving person who could brighten up anyones day. Well I just didn't know how far she would take her grace & charm until reading her obituary here today. What a wonderful person she had turned out to be over the years helping so many and brightening up their days, the ones who needed that the most!I however always knew in my heart that is how her life would unfold and now I will say she was already missed by me all these years but today she will be missed by all! God Bless Marcia & may she rest in peace. Love, Karl
