Kevin was a special person! A great friend and unique character - the "Duck" to us also. Many weekend or day trip started with Kevin showing up on our doorstep telling us "this looks good - we should go here!" Load up the car and go we did. Gettysburg, Trolley Museum, Strasburg, flying in a open-cockpit 1928 Bi-Plane at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome! That or welding on the Willy's in his garage...never an ordinary weekend. We learned a lot from him, enjoyed his company tremendously and will miss him greatly. Our condolences to his family and friends. ~Kathy & Richard

Kevin A.K.A (DUCK)Kevin was given that name by me in early 1980's. I found it so fitting. As many of you know Kevin would (Duck)in and (Duck) out of your life, but you always knew he was there. Duck and I had many, many years of fun times. Especially early on with the likes of Al Pavarnik, Reggie Bothwell,Russ Tiano, Ralph Pleasic, just to name a few. I now know he's at peace and enjoying being with friends at the "POST" in heaven sharing a few drinks and many memories. I will miss Kevin very much, he was such a close, loyal friend..Duck, save me a seat, I'll be there some day. Steve Geruso

Throughout our hurried lives, we meet people. They come and go, some we remember, some we don't. In 1966, I joined the Darien Volunteer Fire Dept. As a 16 year old "Rookie" firefighter, I remember being tested and tried by a "SEASONED" firefighter that had joined 2 years prior to me. That person was Kevin Dunn. That trial by fire made me a better firefighter, and made Kevin my good friend. We fought fires, drank at "The Post" Raced at the Dragstrips, and respected each other. I will miss my friend Kevin Dunn very much! God Bless You and Rest In Peace Kevin.

We're going to miss Kevin. Extremely private about so much and he always went his own way, but if you needed help he was always right there. I've heard the same thing from his many friends I've spoken to these last few days. An M & M that was in the sun too long; hard shell on the outside, mushy on the inside. Thank you all for your prayers.

My sincere condolences to all of Kevin's family members on the loss of such a good person. On behalf of the whole Tyler family and inlaws who were Kevins neighbors wnen he lived in Darien, I will say that Kevin will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts and fondest of our memories. He was such a good friend and neighbor. We consider him family more than that. He was always there for our family in good times and very helpfull and supportive in tough times. His wisdom and insight in regards to firefighting were very helpfull to my brotherand I as fellow volunteer firefighters. My family and I have way too many great memories than I can mention here! Kevin, you will always be loved and missed very dearly! You are in our hearts forever.
