I express my deepest sympathy to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Ken for five years (Accoutntant for SAMCO, Park 230 SPE and other entities). I always admired that he was a true gentlemen. His strong attributes were so obvious, which was the love he had for his children, wife and granddaughter, the pride he took in his work and always being fair and honest in whatever situation that was presented. Ken was a great guy and he will definitely be missed.

My firm had represented Ken, his business interests, and personal interests for many years. After my partner retired Ken's relationship with our firm was not on stable ground as Ken worked with my former partner and various other individuals. Change is difficult. As managing partner I stepped in and asked Ken for the chance to prove our ability all over again. To Ken's credit he and I began to build our relationship and trust. Our firm discovered a bank fraud on Ken's behalf, which went along way in building Ken's trust in us. (He would give me a big Ken laugh here,) Ken called and said I quote "I can't believe I am calling to thank you." He said on many occassions that he was surprised at how close we had become both our team members, Alba and Todd at Metis as well as he and I. I am sorry that I never really thanked him for the chance to prove our teams value and I can only now work as hard for his family. Because that is what he would want and expect. It is my firms debt to a good guy who was loyal to us. I hope that we can assist his family and hold thier hand while trying to understand his business and personl finances as friends and family will help to support them in other ways. I am very sorry for your loss. I will miss Ken. Glenn-Metis Group

With our deepest sympathies our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Ken was a great leader in every meeting he attended and my personal relationship with him was rewarding in the fact that he helped us reach all our goals.

It deeply saddens me to make entry into this guest book. While only seeing Ken at our monthly meetings, I had the pleasure of having Katie, Jimmy and Johnny work with me and my team during internships. I thought it great that Ken wanted them to have real life experience and to perhaps gain a better sense of the world as it truly is. I always did my best to blend learning and challenge with fun. In the end, Ken always thanked me and gave me the best compliment that he could "Joe, you are a really good guy". Ken, from one really good guy to another, I will miss you. My sincerest sympathies go out to everyone in the Simpson family.

My condolences to the entire Simpson family. Ken and I had a brief but enjoyable relationship. As GM of the Grand Hyatt he would often call me and ask "How are we doing?" After a good thirty minute conversation, Ken would inevitably end the call with - "your a good man". That type of support has always been appreciated by me and I've often shared it with the staff. I will miss seeing Ken and hearing from him every so often.

I wish to convey my deepest condolences to the Simpon family during this difficult time. I first met Ken through the meetings at the hotel each month, three years ago. I was immediately impressed by his business knowledge, but in addition was lucky enough to experience his sense of humor and strong caring for people and his family. A month never went by that we did not share stories about our children. He will be sorely missed.

Just a note to Foosh to express my sympathy for her and her children's loss, but also to say it sounds like Kenny had a very fine life: still married to the same (good) woman, five kids, a long time living in a beautiful town, and solid accomplishments in several areas of endeavor. He left too soon but many folks live longer while leaving a much smaller legacy.

Che: My deepest sympathies to you and the entire Simpson family. I have many memories of Ken,his hearty laugh and our growing years in Glen Ridge. I'm comforted to know that you shared many wonderful years and experiences together as the family legacy grew. From the written comments of others, it is clear that Ken greatly impacted many in both the Darien community and his professional life. He would not have been as successful without your love and guidance over the years. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the family in this time of sorrow and rememberance. Ed Ames Framingham, MA
